17.2 Logs on endpoints

Windows

  • State: %ProgramData%\AdaClassification\agent-status.json (online, authenticated, policyVersion, lastSyncUtc).
  • Logs: C:\ProgramData\AdaClassification\logs and %LOCALAPPDATA%\AdaClassification\logs: service.log, agent.log, addin-error.log, addin-timing.log.
  • Windows Event Log → Application → source Ada Agent Service.
  • Install log: C:\Windows\Temp\ada-setup.log; uninstall log: C:\Windows\Temp\ada-uninstall.log.

macOS

  • Self-check: "/Library/Application Support/AdaClassification/Ada Agent.app/Contents/MacOS/ada-agent" doctor (changes nothing).
  • Logs: /Library/Logs/AdaClassification/ada-daemon.log and ~/Library/Logs/AdaClassification/.

Easiest: Agents → open the machine → Collect diagnostics. The agent uploads a bundle on its next heartbeat (section 13.3).
